Turn one animal blood vial into a prepared restorative
One craft requires one Vial of Animal Blood, two Ribwort Plantain and two Yellow Sweet Clover, together with access to the Animal Blood Infusion recipe. The vial is the base ingredient; the infusion is the finished item.
The raw vial can also be used for nighttime recovery. Keep some direct-use supply if you still need the herbs or recipe, and prepare a quickslot for the blood item you plan to use in combat.
Animal and Mortal’s Blood Infusions both need Yellow Sweet Clover. Crafting one of each requires four of that herb in total. My journey can combine the quantities for several planned preparations.

Effects measured in time segments last until that many segments of the day or night pass. Only one such buff is active at a time unless you have learned Amalgam, which allows two or three consumable buffs to be active together.
Animal Blood Infusion can only be consumed in vampire form at night. The crafting menu labels these as Night Only.
